Charr Hides - Guild Wars Forums

What is the significence of these? I've seen people offer up to 50g for each. Are they salvaging something that I'm missing here? Thanks.

They can be made into fur squares in Ascalon. Fur squares aren't that easy to come by and are used in some armors.

They also salvage into tanned hides and sometimes fur or leather with an expert kit. If you aren't going to use any of these for armor, just sell them.

Or, as most people do <or try to> buy them low at 20ish to turn a profit on them Fur Squares By reselling them to rare merchant.

This is called the "Charrhide Moneymaking Trick" Don't get scammed into selling them that low, as all they're gunna do is run a profit on you.

thanks guys...i got about 50 of them that i guess I can finally get rid of, that along with a bunch of other junk. I'm such a pack rat...lol

collector clarissa sedgewick? in ascalon city will trade a fur square for 4 char hides if fur is below 200 each you will do better selling hides at 50 g each.

i sell the fur at 190 gold or above/fur

it ranges from 160- 240 most of the time/fur

I usually go to nolani and the beginning part over and over again and sale awhole bunch for 50 gp takes longer now since of aoe thing being nerfed

i tried this before, i ended up with about 50 fur sqaures, made alot of money.....

WRONG. People trade them to the collector in ascalon for fur squares. If you have 4000 hides you can make between 200 and 300k

nope.

you pull the lever and they charge in and you kill them in a few seconds with point blank AOE which doesnt use DOT.

they rush you and poof they are dead.

Warriors are great for the beginning of noloni mission, open the gate, let them swarm you, and in three swings with my axe they are all dead

Yeah, the academy beginning is a great place for charr hides, Defy Pain+Soul Feast=invicibility. (Taking 0 damage from most of the attacks doesn't hurt, either.)

Heh, I trap them every once in a great while. Takes some preperation, but the massive explosion of 6-8 traps going off at once is something that I will never get tired of seeing XD

Honest profit turners Will ask for 30-40ea. Since even selling to merchant they get 190 a sqaure, which averages 47.5ea for the hides used in making the fur.

As long as their buying for less than 47.5ea, their turning profit just on the merchant.

Some s oto Droknar's and get 200ea though..even bigger mergain of profit.
